We’re in this together! As a strength-based therapist, I’m committed to recognizing the strengths within you, even when you might not see them yet. It’s the same support a therapist once gave me, and now I’m here to offer it to you.
Education
Bachelor’s in Marriage, Family, and Human Development 2002. Masters of Social Work 2025.
My Background:
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Marriage, Family, and Human Development in 2002. For the next couple of decades, I worked as a mother, teacher, and co-facilitator of an eating disorder support group at Providence Hospital. Through my work with teens and adults, I discovered that disordered eating isn’t the only thing that is closely connected with trauma and a lack of identity development. My interest in the latest research and cutting-edge treatments of trauma grew until I decided I needed a graduate degree. In 2023, I decided to further my education at Weber State University for a Master’s degree to become a Mental Health Therapist in Utah. I also have my Crisis Intervention Training (CIT) Certification, allowing me to better work with crisis and trauma.
I love to laugh, sing loudly in the car, watch stage performances, read the latest Brandon Sanderson book, travel, watch Friends in my pajamas, and spend time in nature. I’ll even hike if the view is good enough!
